To unlock a hidden map with terrain the reads "Advance Wars", hold L + R while selecting Map Design mode.

Easy points:
To easily gain points, repeatedly play Mission 4 "Reclaim The Skies". It only takes about a minute to complete and earns you 300 points. After completing the mission, save the game in a different file and quit Campaign mode. Then, load the file for Mission 4 again.
