Complete Story Mode, and "Quick Save" will be replaced with "Save" on the start menu for the overworld. You can then save at any time from the overworld--not just after completing important levels.
World 9 (Superstar Road):
Complete the game with every Star Coin from Worlds 1 through 8 collected.
End of level fireworks:
Jump on the flagpole while the last two digits of your time are the same number. The number of fireworks that will appear depend on which number was the same. For example, "11" will result in a single firework, while "22" will show two fireworks, etc.
